The Gardeners is the creative collaboration of Christopher Harrell and Genevieve Pierson. We have been creating images and stories separately for many years. One day we realized that we really like making things with each other as well, so we began this partnership. Also, the marriage really brought us together.
After a decade each of creating a broad spectrum of stories in a variety of mediums, we have a lot of experience and intuition to bring to our projects. We know how to think the whole project through, but we make our best discoveries without thinking. Whether it looks like taking a project from concept to completion or just working on a part of it, we love to find and tell beautiful stories.
What do we make?
We make films, commercials, documentaries, social content, and music videos. We both have experience working with large scale projects for global companies as well a whole range of smaller projects for local artists and entrepreneurs.
What do we do?
Genevieve Pierson is a cinematographer and photographer with a particular talent for capturing human moments and natural light. She has shot for basically everyone in the Pacific Northwest from Nordstrom to Microsoft to Sur La Table.
In addition to shooting, Genevieve also does video editing work and photo retouching.

Christopher Harrell is an award-winning director who can see the big picture and put all the little parts of it together. He has directed short films, animated pieces, music videos, and tv spots for a wide range of clients.
In addition to directing, Christopher is a video editor and motion-designer comfortable with most parts of the post-production process.
